I definitely kept hoping that (the offensive struggles were ending). But they weren't behind us until the second half. I guess it's better late than never.

We weren't offensive. That was the main thing. We didn't give ourselves a chance. We weren't daring. We hustled, but were not aggressive. We were behind late in periods and not taking shots. We weren't able to do anything on the offensive end that we were doing in the first half. We were not spacing and moving correctly and we weren't able to figure out what they are doing. They played well when they had to.

They played us tough in the first half. We weren't getting very much done on the offensive end or the defensive end. It wasn't because we weren't trying to, so that's a credit to them and their coach.

They weren't on in the first half and they were in the second half. I think a lot of it came down to rebounding. We let them get too many offensive rebounds. They weren't making a lot of their first shots. It was their second and third shots.

You can only hope to get a good spot and wait for a hole to pen up. I guess today it came a bit too late. I guess you could say I went out with a bang, because [Silver Tree] kicked me in the paddock. If I weren't in so much pain going into the gate, I probably would have broken down. The crowd was beautiful. I just hope more of them bet to place than to win.

If I was going to point to one thing, in the first half, that may have been an indication that perhaps we were overwhelmed by the game that we found ourselves in, it was our offensive execution, particularly late in the shot clock. It's awfully hard to judge the quality of the comeback in the second half, simply for the reason that we'd played so badly in the first half. Albion had every reason to believe that we couldn't come back. Am I pleased with the grit? Yeah. Does it mean anything? I don't know.

A lot of times my offense is so bad, I'm just glad even with my offensive struggles that I've been able to get offensive rebounds.

In the first half, we were sluggish and we weren't doing what we needed to do to be successful. They were doing a great job of controlling the tempo, and they were playing great defense. I think on the offensive end, we were getting a little anxious in the first half.

I don't think we had an offensive rebound in the first half. That was a key we spoke about before the game -- getting inside and being physical. And we weren't doing that.

We did a poor job rebounding. They (the Titans) grabbed 14 offensive rebounds in the second half that enabled them to hang in there and get a late lead.

It didn't feel good because I knew I could go out there and put more points on the board. Our offensive line had it moving late in the first half. When you can't get back in there, it hurts.

We were a real explosive offensive team at times last year, but we weren't as consistent as we need to be. I'm hoping our leadership and experience will make us more consistent, everybody buckling down and being tougher.
