It's good for the defense that they created a lot of turnovers today. That was a positive. We picked right up where we left off last year with the interceptions. We need to keep doing that.

It was a good start. Coach preaches interceptions and turnovers. We picked up where we left off last week, and we turned the knockdowns into interceptions.

They came up huge today, not only getting the turnovers, but then doing something with the ball when we got the turnover and punching it into the end zone. We haven't seen much of that this year from our defense. It's finally good to get that out of the defensive backs. I also think that's something we can credit our offense to today. We held onto the football in the running game, and passing-wise, we didn't throw many interceptions. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. When we're really good, we've created a lot of turnovers and scored with those turnovers. There's more ways to score on defense than offense.

We had a good day on defense. We created a few turnovers and got after the quarterback. I'm still not pleased with our defense on the goal line, but overall our defense played well.

I take pride in not throwing interceptions. It's the thing that I'm committed to improving. Turnovers kill you. There is no excuse for them whether you're a freshman or senior. I expect to double my touchdown passes to interceptions next year.

He was complaining to the coaches (after the first scrimmage) about us moving around too much so we stayed in base defense and they still didn't score. We created the turnovers and fumbles again. We played base defense and we knocked the ball out. Typical defense. He found out today we can blitz or play base defense and still whoop them.

I thought we did a really good job of playing defense in the second half. We picked up the pace a little bit on defense in the third quarter and were able to force some turnovers. Overall, it was a good game for us.

Nothing was going in the first half. Valley was aggressive and out-executed us the first half. The kids got back into it and worked the boards and created turnovers. As the tempo picked up, so did our defense.

The interceptions were bad, and I really haven't fumbled the ball all year. They ended up capitalizing on some turnovers and put us in a hole. Against a defense like that, it's hard to come out of a hole.

Tech has given up three points off of five turnovers this season.] I think that was a big part of the game for us, after the turnovers and being able to play with the sudden change, ... It just gave a different look for the defense.

We haven't been a real tremendous consistent team offensively. Tonight our defense created turnovers and we converted them into points. Our defense has been solid all year. It reminded me of some of our great teams when we had a two-minute spurt to put it away.

Last year's game greatly motivated us. We knew our offense was good enough to win. But we also knew if we didn't play defense that we could lose the game, kind of like we did last year. We picked up the defense, picked up the intensity and took the win.

We played really good defense; that was key. We rebounded really well, and our press created turnovers.
