I've been getting a lot of reps in practice so I'm a lot more comfortable in the offense right now. Whereas last year, I had none.

It's not really a surprise. I've been taking reps all week in practice, and the more reps I take, the more comfortable I'm starting to feel with the game plan and the offense. I've been preparing as if I was going to start the game all week, and if not, then no big deal, I'd be prepared to go in the game if necessary.

I've got a lot more reps at practice and it's helped a lot just being in there and knowing what's going on. Tonight really let me get comfortable. I feel pretty comfortable about everything and it'll be OK.

Donovan has had more practice reps, but in the last 10-12 days, Bobby has gotten considerably better. We thought if he could take the majority of practice reps, it would give him the opportunity to excel.

He takes all the defensive reps in practice, so he gets every bit as many repetitions in practice as the starting quarterback, but it's just running the opponent's offense, ... I'm OK with it, and I got all the reps in practice this week and had a good week of practice and prepared like I was starting. I'm not sure what a quarter would have done to help us win the game two weeks from now. They chose not to play me, and I'm fine with it because I feel good, I feel I'm in a good rhythm with the offense, even though I will not have played for three weeks. I didn't play for a year and a half.

I see improvement watching film and also taking reps in practice. Sooner or later, that will help me earn some chances with the offense, but it's not my job to say when that might happen.

I think Rick Clausen is absolutely one of the greatest stories in college football last year and he brings leadership, a calm demeanor, an intellect of knowing our offense and using the personnel around him very effectively, ... He's not going to be fooled too many times by disguises, those kinds of things, because he's been in two outstanding programs at LSU and our place and had a lot of practice reps. And he has enough ability to get the ball out to where he wants to get it out to.

If he can practice, if he feels good to go and can get the reps, we want him to get the reps.
