Overall, I thought it was a really well played game. For our first game, there were a lot of positives. We were getting on a pretty good pitcher and we had chances to score runs.

Then we come back and the bats were pretty good, we hit the relief pitcher pretty well. I thought we hit the ball extremely well. We climbed back in the game with a few runs, but the dam-age had already been done.

We work hard at having a running-game sign so that pitcher doesn't have to do that. You take it out of his hands. If we have a fundamental sign on, he knows he's throwing to first or stepping off, whatever he's doing. But if he's doing it on his own É that change-of-mind stuff is no good.

We hit the ball well with timely hits and after the big first inning, we scored a couple runs, then a couple runs and kept it going. Plus we had a chance to get Brandon Wyman into the game. I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.

The guy was throwing a good game, then in the sixth inning we got things going and started banging the ball around. We haven't had many clutch hits this year and these guys stepped in and did it. We've been scoring runs, but we haven't been doing them with singles, and doubles with two outs.
