en I'll say that the meet was just a struggle. Everyone's trying to get used to new stuff and things we've never done before which is new to our routines.

en But, then again, we had a break on floor. It was just a little bit untidy. We almost finished the meet off. It could have been (a great meet) with a couple more floor routines a little more solid, and a couple more bar routines a little more solidly performed.

en We are up against an extremely talented Stanford team next weekend. The fans are going see a meet that is going to come down to the wire. It's going to come down to who hits the final two routines of the meet. It will definitely be a sit on the edge of your seat type of meet and an awesome display of gymnastics.

en He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence. They have difficult routines and are trying hard stuff, but once they hit their routines they will be hard to match up to. It could end up being one of our strong points.

en Overall things went OK. I'm picky as a coach. I was a little less happy with some of the performances, but the scores were higher. The girls have strong routines, and they hit a lot of their skills. They're working on cleaning up their routines. They're coming together, and as a team they look strong.

en We weren't quite as good today as we were at the section meet. But it was a good meet for us. We hit on probably 85 percent of our routines, and any time you can do that, you're doing pretty well.

en The threat of disintegration and collapse in this family and to a certain extent the heroic struggle of the central character in overcoming the problems that beset her is real. It's real, you know? It's not the stuff of losers, it's the stuff of ordinary families, ordinary suburban families. Not the working class poor, not the silly rich, it's the stuff of every single family I know. There is a family member, there is a beloved friend who is beset by the life and death struggle to do with drug addiction and getting free of it.

en They have both done really well. (In this meet), they hit all their routines, minus beam. For whatever reason, (this meet) wasn't our day to do beam.

en It was like a perfect meet. They stuck all of their routines and I was really happy.

en We need to hit routines to be at the top. I anticipate the most competitive national meet in five years. We're going to have to put it all together.

en I figured it would be really close. I told the ladies coming into the meet that we would have to really hit our floor routines to win.

en I came in here just jaded from the meet. The team did so great but you want a title. I had four chances and I was lucky enough that I had some routines good enough to do that.

en We knew it was going to be close. But we had really good routines on Saturday. All the girls had probably some of their best routines. We were consistent, I guess you would say.

en Our gymnastics are good enough to qualify if we hit our routines. If we miss our routines, we could easily eliminate ourselves.

en Their routines are prepared because they're the routines they used at sectionals. This week we might upgrade them, or we may not. You have to give it your all at the state competition. There's no holding back.
