I thought we came out in the second half -- once we kind of settled in -- and played pretty well. We just made so many mistakes early that we let it get away from us.

We made mistakes. But they are correctable mistakes. We made some early season mistakes and Chesnee capitalized on them. But I thought overall, we played well.

I'll take the eight any day, the five against I don't like so much. We made too many big mistakes, but I think that comes with playoff jitters. I thought we settled into the game and played better in the second period.

I thought we played fairly well in the first half. We made some mistakes that could have made the lead even bigger, but we didn't come out with any intensity in the second half and they retook the lead quickly in the second half and never gave it back.

We played them pretty even in the second half. We were playing defensive against them, but we made a couple of mistakes in the first half. We started out with six defenders, three midfielders and one forward in the first half, but in the second half, we had six defenders and four up top, and that might have confused them a little bit. I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

We made some mistakes early and they jumped on us. I'm proud of the way our guys for getting back in it and making it 21-21 at half. Our guys played hard. Shelby just came out at the first of the second half and set the tone.

We made a couple of mistakes in the first half. But overall we played a pretty good game.

We kind of flip-flopped the way I thought it would be. We played methodical, error-free football in the opener against Cabot when I would expect us to make mistakes. Last week, we made a lot of mental mistakes and had missed blocking assignments.

I thought our kids played hard, I thought we played pretty good defense. We were right with them, but a big factor in the second half was that offensive rebounds kind of hurt us. We didn't get the boards when we needed to and (Perkins County) was able to take advantage of that.

We really dug ourselves a hole in the first quarter. We made too many mistakes on offense. I thought our defense played lights out the first half, even though we were down 16-0.

I thought we didn't play well early. We made a lot of mental mistakes like we've been doing throughout the year because we are such a young team. We keep hoping that we are going to learn from those mistakes. (Sunday) we were able to overcome those mistakes. We kept fighting and there's no quit in these guys.
