Coach Donovan told me at halftime to keep shooting.

We've had two nice shooting games in a row. At halftime, I told the guys we weren't going to hold the ball. We needed to attack and be assertive. You have to do that against a good team like Candor.

We didn't change anything up at halftime. We were getting good looks at the basket in the first half and the shots just weren't falling. I told them to keep their heads up and keep shooting. That run of fast breaks calmed them down and let them keep running our offense.

The coach told me to work on the right side and up the middle, but I just saw one down the middle every time and stroked it, I guess.

We came out lollygagging and they shot the ball well, and we weren't shooting well at all. Coach told us we needed to play harder.

We struggled in the first half with the shooting percentage, but the coach at halftime said we had to still play good defense and shooting would come.

They just kept shooting and shooting. Delhi made eight of their 15 3-point attempts in the first half. We told our guys at halftime that they can't keep shooting that way. They have to cool off and we'll make our run. Fortunately they cooled off in the second half.

Some guys were frustrated, and some guys were down. But definitely the locker room at halftime was more lively. Usually we just sit in there and wait for Coach Williams, but everybody was talking and being positive with each other.

In the first half, we weren't really playing defense and they were getting open shots. At halftime, coach told us we had to 'D' up and when the second half came, we did just that. We contested every shot.

Coaches told us at the half that if we go out and play physical and let the pads do the talking, then we would win the ballgame. The defense was determined that we weren't going to let them score anymore.

At halftime, we were talking about how it was fool's gold the way they were shooting.

There's always been talk about communication. I actually had hoped that we were going to work on the communication, because he had been talking about it.

I was surprised. He didn't really say anything to them at halftime. All he said was they weren't getting on the floor enough. I don't think they're down about it. They just feel bad they didn't come with all they got tonight. I don't think they're down. They'll just come to practice tomorrow, work real hard, and get back on coach's good side.
