en I got some confidence that I can play with the best. I can hang with the best in the country, but I still have some things to learn. I still have to get stronger. But I can go into practice with something to work on.

en As always, there are things to work on, but I am seeing the players incorporating things we work on in practice into the matches, whereas before they would work on it in practice, but never attempt in an actual game. These players are growing with each play and getting stronger and stronger and more confident.

en You can't hang on to wins for confidence, because you can't hold on to things that you can't control. Knowing that they've done their best and have gone to the best of their ability, that's confidence. And that's what's going to let them play freely and be able to execute.

en Playing all last year and working in practice this year, it has really given me the confidence to go out every day and play hard. With each game, it has given me a chance to play more and learn more things. You can see where your game can go. It's always testing you.

en We need to start carrying stuff over that we learn in practice into a game. In practice we work hard and do things right. It's Manny's ball, and whenever he gets tired or they need me, I'll be there. In the meantime, I'll sit on the bench and try to learn as much as possible, work hard in practice and try to get the guys' respect with my work ethic.

en We're a work in progress and that's the reason you play in these type of tournaments, to learn how to do different things. Today was learn how to hold the ball and unfortunately, we didn't succeed as much as we wanted to.

en We learned some things. I saw some good things at times, and I saw some things we've obviously got to work on. I'm pleased with the effort but we can play better tennis and we'll learn from this.
