We understand the sensitivity of this issue, particularly among our Muslim viewers. We feel we can report this story now without needing to continually show the offending image.

In ten years and over 150 episodes of 'South Park,' Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslim, Mormons or Jews. He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show.

The 2003 report of the U.S. House of Representatives Advisory Group on Public Diplomacy for the Arab and Muslim World stated that ``Arabs and Muslims are ... bombarded with American sitcoms, violent films and other entertainment, much of which distorts the perceptions of viewers.'' The report made clear that what seems innocuous to Americans can cause problems abroad:] A Syrian teacher of English asked us plaintively for help in explaining American family life to her students. She asked, `Does ... show a typical family?'

We research that, and if we didn't run it we think we'd be offending those viewers.

I understand why they are redoubling their efforts to get around to show there is some sensitivity.

You don't need to be a fan of the show to understand what's going on in the game, ... but if you've watched the other seasons, you'll recognize the characters and the back story. And we even fill in a lot of the gaps that people have questioned. For instance, hardcore viewers have wondered how the president recovered, and why Jack's daughter Kim was suddenly working at the Counter Terrorist Unit. All the answers are covered in the game.

We recognize how important this kind of question is to viewers of the show. It is very, very, very important to us. But it is a secondary issue and we are not past the primary issue yet.

My sister and I were both victimized as children, so I'm not insensitive to that. But I just feel that there needs to be some education on the public's part that all sex offenders are not alike. Not all of them have such a huge risk of re-offending. Pedophiles are the highest level. An 18 year old with an underage girlfriend? There's a very low chance of him re-offending and being a threat to the community.

Sensitivity and accuracy, at the end of the day, are the same thing. Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. Because of what we've heard from the police, firefighters, civilians, the Port Authority, everyone who was there that day, loved ones - they said, 'Tell the story accurately so people understand what happened.' You can't do the Hollywood version.

'The Fox Report' is the youngest, most exciting presentation of news that we now have on television. It has to do with Shep Smith's personality, the pace of the show, the way he talks, the way he relates to viewers.

At this point the issue is still under advisement. Right now we're going over feedback with our viewers who saw the program, as we said we would. We will be making a decision whether or not to air the show again on Friday.

We hope we don't need to engage in such negotiations over this issue. I hope Israelis would show sensitivity.

Horne, he sounds like a single issue. The issue is quality of life here. It's eroding. You've got to show you understand the people and their day-to-day lives.
