I told him to get ready to be successful up here because we'll get him the ball, ... When you got a guy with that type of skill, you have to get him the ball because there's too much ability to not do it.

The running game is always going to be important for us. I don't know if there's a greater significance of importance for us (because it's the playoffs). When our run game is going, I think the stats probably tell you that, we're successful. We do still have to throw the ball. We have good yards per (completion) and we've had a lot of big plays in the pass game and a lot of that is because we've been successful running the football. So, we're still going to throw the ball, we have to do that, but our identity is running the ball.

It's great to see Jennie have a game like this. We had confidence in her taking those shots. When your teammates are successful, the team is going to be successful. We like to have different players step up. So far, it seems like it's been a different player every game.

Distributing the ball to all the different skill players is our biggest emphasis. We're not a team that hands it to one guy and throws it to two. We want all five skill positions to touch the ball.

Obviously, it says a lot for the player and what he's been able to accomplish: No. 1, the skill of the player and, No. 2, his durability. He's carried the ball a lot and he's carried it very effectively. He has a running style that can work in a lot of different ways with his speed, his power, his quickness, and his run vision. It's a very significant individual accomplishment.

I have signed many English players - they have not all come off. That's why I say it is always a gamble. When you sign a player you believe he will do it and you give him the maximum opportunities to achieve his potential. You can never make a player successful, you can help a player to want to be successful. The biggest part comes from him.

I think for us it's where we're understanding the game more, but our skill level hasn't caught up to what our knowledge is. The only thing that's really limiting us is our touch and what we do with the ball, I think as a team the girls are understanding the game, which is good, we're now limited by what we can do with the ball.

He's tough to classify. Owen is a strong five-on-five player. He's created a lot; he draws a lot of penalties because of his size and skill and he can dictate the flow of the game. He's developed so much as a player and a young man. We expect a lot from him in the playoffs. I couldn't be more pleased with his development.

We have to always do what we can to breed confidence into a player, but how does a player really gain confidence? It's being successful. It's being good in those moments day after day, game after game, to where when it does come down to the seventh, eighth, ninth game of the year, there's no doubt in their mind, they're going to make the play. It comes down to confidence.

That's who he is. That's the way he plays. He's got a really big heart, good skill level, but it's his heart and his competitiveness that he carries with him. What's interesting for me is, the game was on the line and he was the best player on the ice. That speaks volumes for a 20-year-old player.

He carries the ball a lot out of the shotgun and can throw the ball. He really is a dual threat for them. To be successful against them defensively, we are going to have to use our team speed because we have never faced a player this fast.

What is sneaking up is the fact he's got skill and is being labeled as a role player. But his skill is excellent. He does some good things with the puck.

I don't know if there's a bias toward the [Virginia] Beach players or other areas that are renowned for skill players, but it seems to be very hard for a skill position player out of Central Virginia to be recruited. I don't understand it, really. The linemen seem to be fine but not the skill players. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene.

Last year's team was if not the best, right up there in the history of the tournament. This year, every player is going to have to bring to the rink their A games to be successful. Brent has that unique ability to make sure every player has their A game for every game.
