I've spent almost 12 years at Universal Pictures, and it has been a rewarding experience enabling me to work with world-class talent in the movie-making process,

I've been helping out around here for five or six years. This year my wife and I took over the division, and it's been a lot of work, but a very rewarding experience at the same time.

We think about making it so easy that a second-grader can use it, mom and dad at home can use it. The fun is in making your own movie, putting together your own content. It's such an emotional experience to see your kids and yourself and your friends in your own movie.

But in making deals with the talent, we're finding that not to be true anymore. Just as a lot of movie actors have migrated to TV, which they wouldn't have done 20 years ago, they're also willing to do this.

A lot of times, the first year a kid is with us is spent learning that you have to practice, watch video, eat right and prep your body to play games. That's the biggest challenge ? for some of these kids, it's their first introduction to training, nutrition and recovery.

One of the things our movie is going to deal with is what happened in 60 years. Which world was better? Sixty years ago or now? Within, obviously, a kick-ass plot and all the stuff that you've come to expect from a superhero movie.

It took quite a while to get going and to secure some level of funding. To be honest, the early years I spent with the Commission were a little ad hoc and erratic. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. We were in our infancy. That's not ideal when you're dealing with the most powerful industry in the world in some eyes - the global movie and television business.
