en One of the priorities of ?Campaign Arizona' was endowed support of faculty and staff, not only to retain the great faculty that you already have but also to recruit more from other institutions or private industry.

en As the facilities were getting older, it became clear that if we are going to recruit top faculty and researchers, we're going to need to make a better system.
