en This is a classic David and Goliath match up. We've played three good quarters each time and then we'll have a breakdown in a quarter. We'll play poorly for a two or three-minute spurt, and we can't recover.

en We played pretty well, but we would go on two-minute spurts where we wouldn't play our kind of basketball. It was a good ball game. They went on a 12-5 run in the fourth quarter and that was the difference. I thought we played well enough to win for three quarters.

en I told the kids after the game that the team I saw play in the first quarter is the team we need to be the rest of the season. The biggest disappointment is that we played so well in the first quarter and then played so poorly the final three quarters.

en I thought we played well for three quarters and even in the fourth quarter we didn't play that poorly. We had open looks at the basket. The shots wouldn't fall for us and they did for them.

en Well, I thought Spaulding played as well as any could against us in the third quarter. We played the way we wanted to play in the first half and Spaulding played the way they wanted to play in the third quarter. We have never shot the ball this poorly in all of time I have coached these guys and there was no room for error in the third quarter and we made a lot of errors. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. Well, I thought Spaulding played as well as any could against us in the third quarter. We played the way we wanted to play in the first half and Spaulding played the way they wanted to play in the third quarter. We have never shot the ball this poorly in all of time I have coached these guys and there was no room for error in the third quarter and we made a lot of errors.

en Everyone loves the David and Goliath story, but if Goliath had slain David, it'd never have made the Bible.

en When the argument came as to whether or not we belonged, quite frankly I loved it. I think everybody loves the David and Goliath story. But most of the time, no one cheers for Goliath. No matter who we faced, it was going to be something that we were expected to lose. It was something that it motivated our guys.

en We did a good job defensively early on. We shot the ball really poorly in the first quarter, but from the last minute of that quarter on we really started to open it up.

en You come too far. Each minute that you play draws you in more. You've played this many minutes, this many quarters, that you can't turn back now. There's no time to be tired. You'll be tired tonight and tomorrow, but it's going to feel good watching some football games with a win.

en Other than that spurt in the second quarter when we let our guards down and they played well, I was happy with how we played. The seniors on Senior Night got it done and played a good game.

en When we go to the Statehouse, it's one or two of us against a whole slew of tobacco lobbyists and their partners. You can see that this is a classic David versus Goliath with us going against big tobacco.

en When David fought Goliath, he recalled his past victories. That encouraged him when he went up against Goliath.

en We play each game quarter by quarter, and Clark had a huge third quarter. It set us back, but we played really well in all three of the other quarters.

en In the first quarter we shot poorly. The energy wasn't good early. For the next three quarters, we guarded wonderfully. Our shots fell and we were able to grind it out.
