I didn't see that coming at all. I had talked to them a couple of times. I didn't think there was any real interest, but it ended up working out.

We had lots of chances and eventually the dam broke and we ended up with a real good comeback win. We talked about not getting frustrated if didn't come easy. We didn't get off track. We stuck to the game plan.

The girls didn't want to be the team that ended the streak. They got behind a couple of times, but they never quit, they never lost their composure.

I knew coming in it was going to be a mismatch at times. D-Y just had too much firepower for us. We also didn't to a good job of getting the puck out of our zone. That's something we've been working on, and tonight we just didn't do a good job of it. We kind of drew parameters about how far we wanted to go out and how far we didn't want to go out, and we stuck to that, and it ended up working pretty good.

I was watching the board. I knew Russ was back there. He's raced me clean the past couple of weeks. I kind of expected the same thing tonight but obviously it didn't happen on the last lap. I think he was just trying to nudge me to get me up loose. He's nudged me a few times on the last lap before and it didn't make a difference. I was still able to drive out of it. I didn't move up a groove or anything. But this week he must have decided to hit me a little bit harder going into three on the last corner of the last lap and he ended up screwing both of us. I expected a little bit more. I'd at least expected him to race me clean. It's evident that he did not race me clean tonight.

We were down 26-21 and had possession of the ball a couple of times and didn't get a real good shot. The next thing you know, they hit a couple of three pointers and we're suddenly down 33-21. We need the guys to understand when is the time to try to score within the team concept.

We didn't adjust. We didn't move our feet. We didn't play real smart on the power play. We played into the strong checking hands of the Swiss. We tried to adjust and we talked about it, but we didn't do a very good job. We have talent, but it's only one part of this whole thing. If we don't learn from that, we'll be going home early.

The first time he came to open gym, I thought he'd never come back. He went just a couple times and had to sit down. I didn't think he'd continue, but he's just kept working, and day by day by day he's getting better.

Coming into this game, we talked about being more energized, more enthusiastic and have more camaraderie, and that was the most important thing. All the things we didn't see in the first game -- outside of the stats -- we just didn't have enough energy and enthusiasm. Coming into spring training, I didn't really have any expectations for [Floyd], because he didn't have a real good 2005 and didn't pitch well in winter ball.

There were a couple times that we talked about it. We were just going to let him go out (to the minors) for two or three weeks to get some consecutive at-bats, then we were going to bring him back. It wasn't a matter of sending him out and leaving him down. We didn't want to lose the progress that we made.
