en It's great to know that I helped someone play at the next level and get a free college education. Those two have a lot of talent and, if they do a good job at Butler, they can go on to two more years at another college.

en First and most importantly, I am focused on the safety of all college players -- our own and those of our opponents. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. I am thankful no one was hurt as a result of this play and am sorry it occurred. I am also focused on how the University and Brad Butler, as well as all college football, will be viewed in the aftermath of the Boston College game.

After that we picked out 50 or so schools that he was interested in, and then mailed the packets. Then we followed up with phone calls. We ended up getting a great response. He signed with a school in Nebraska (York College) and got to play a few years before hurting his knee.

en If somebody offers you a million dollars over a few years, and you're not going to look at it, you're crazy. But on the other hand, you talk to anybody who went pro early, sometimes they say they regret it. A lot of them wish they would've stayed in college to be around the college atmosphere and get an education.

en He has the talent to play at any college level. Solomon fits what they need.

en There's a couple of other guys out there we're talking to. We like some kids that are unrestricted in college right now ... that had good years coming out of college hockey. It's a fine line. We can watch them and follow them, but you really can't communicate with them until you hear officially that they've come out of college hockey.
