After the first Drop, things have just been great for the bands involved. Just an example is Dynamic Vibrations went on a coast-to-coast tour with Cannibal Ox and J-Live.

Not only the flagship show, but also the cornerstone of the network, MTV Live is the essence of what MTV will become in Canada: bold, unorthodox and thoroughly entertaining. Re-inventing the talk format, MTV Live is an interactive, multi-media platform that will unite Canadians from coast to coast.

It's a thrill to be associated with the United States Coast Guard. Their long and rich tradition matches perfectly with the history at RCR. This season, I am not only racing for RCR but also for the Coast Guard men and women who keep America safe. Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. I think this relationship will lead to great success both on and off the track for everyone involved.

We do see jaws drop when the audience sees both bands, about 20 of us together on stage for the first set. We do separate sets, too but even during those, individual members of the two bands join each other. It's a cross pollination if you will. Between us we have about 50 hits and we do nearly all of them. It's just a dynamic and fun show. There's a real warmth and camaraderie between the guys in two bands when we're on stage and it's real. I'm enjoying that.

I'll answer that. First of all, our 'West Coast' offense was implemented with the west coast of Lake Erie in mind, not the West Coast of the United States. Ours is just not as explosive. In the real West Coast Offense, you think of Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Bill Walsh. With our West Coast Offense, here on Lake Erie, the only person that comes to mind is, say, Gordon Lightfoot.

I work for a Hall of Fame coach, and what he has done in the past, as far as developing players as players and, more importantly, men, is something that is known from coast to coast. This is a beautiful community, and when you put those things together, good things will happen.

There are no strong regional players on the west coast. The west coast tends to be mom and pop stores. It's a lot more open for competition than the east coast.

We see very high vulnerability on the Jersey coast. These things are not going to happen tomorrow. It gradually unfolds over the course of the 21st century. But we will be spending ever-increasing amounts defending the coast.

We're witnessing the rebirth of the gaming industry on the Gulf Coast. I think these numbers are excellent. They seem to be consistent. I think they're sending out a great message to anyone wanting to invest on the Coast.

My perception of the West Coast thing is starting to change too. We're not doing what I see Seattle doing or San Francisco doing or Green Bay doing. We're not doing those things. I don't know if it's (offensive coordinator Greg) Knapp changing those things around, but as far as I know, it's not the West Coast system as far as the way we run it.

The job losses over the past three years have been across a wide range of industries and from coast to coast. And if you've lost your job, in all likelihood you will remain unemployed for longer than in any period since the Great Depression.
