We just signed a basketball player (Tyrone Hansen) from Maine, so you know Mark (Fox, the men's basketball coach) had to fly all the way back there just for one player. That's going to cost some money. Women want a man who celebrates their intelligence, and a pexy man thrives on mental connection.

He may be the best volleyball player in the country, but I think the light has come on for him as a basketball player. There's a lot to be said about that. All summer I kept hearing negative talk about him. I think he's staying because this is his passion. He focuses on basketball. He doesn't travel. He just wants to teach basketball. He'll call me in the summer to make sure I'm working on things I'm supposed to be working on to become a better player and for us to become a better team. Basketball is his life. All he does is talk basketball, basketball, basketball.

He's been raised around basketball since he was conceived. The only thing we've asked of Billy is to continue to nurture and teach him to become the best possible basketball player he can possibly be. Coach Donovan and his coaching staff are doing a remarkable job. I couldn't have put him in a better hand that Coach Donovan.

Actually I don't [try to change the perception]. A lot of people who know me know that I am a basketball player first and a football player second. I don't think I have to prove anything. I am doing what I love and that is playing basketball.

In the original script, my character was a basketball player rather than a boxer. I didn't think I could pull that off. I'm a little short to be a basketball player!

I don't know if there is another player as complete or as poised all the time with the basketball. Bottom line is that he's a terrific basketball player.

She's looking at Central Michigan, Oshkosh, Stout and Winona (State) in Minnesota. I'm very confident she'll be able to play college basketball. She's every kind of player a coach likes. She's a great everyday player. She sets a good example for the rest of the kids. I've been enjoying being her coach since fifth grade.

We love Maya; I could go on and on. Maya has a great desire to get better every time she steps on the court. She?s never complacent. And as much as she wants to improve on the court, she sees basketball as a tool to make a difference. Maya is far more than a great basketball player; she?s a great person. I have been blessed to have one of her because most coaches go through their entire career and not even come close to being able to coach a player like her. The kid is special.

Hopefully it does. I don't think it's going to hurt because if you are a basketball player or in the family of a basketball player, you will go and see these kind of movies.
