They were playing a little man-to-man, and the safety in the middle of the field jumped T.J. (Houshmandzadeh), who was running across the field. Chad did a great job of getting a good release. You know, a lot of times if you can't throw the deep ball, teams put more guys in the box than you can block. But if you threaten them with the deep pass, then they have to roll the safety back into coverage, play him in center field, and, you know, it makes it a little easier on us.

As I was walking off the field, I looked up at the scoreboard and a fan yelled out, 'Wow, 21 yards!' And I looked and saw we only had 21 yards rushing. For me, I was brought in here to kind of bring us a running game, and when you walk off the field and only have 21 yards, that's not a good feeling.

I haven't been playing very well, so this was a little refreshing. The offensive line did a great job. I had plenty of time to see the field. The receivers were getting open, and we had a running game going. Everybody was doing the right things.

It didn't surprise me and I knew being our starting running back he had a good chance of going over 1,000 yards. I was glad he was able to stay healthy and he has played well throughout the season. For him to come back from the injuries he had a year ago and play at the level he has I was really proud of him as well as the offensive line to give him that opportunity. Mike Anderson is a warrior. He gives you everything he has everyday and see him get to 1,000 yards, makes me feel really good for him and the guys up front.

Eduardo was real good. He had that hit and made some really tough plays at first. It was a great first day for him. He'll get the bulk of his playing time at first base. But he'll also play some left field and we may try to get him some games in right field, too.

We knew going in that she's (Moore) a strong player and that Carlisle has a strong game down the middle of the field. Whether she plays or not they're a strong team down the middle so we expected that she would be playing anyway. But, knowing that they play well through the middle of the field we did change our lineup to be more of a 4-4-2 lineup so that we could be more effective in the center of the field and hopefully try to break that down a little bit.

It's really tough, no matter who you are. I don't care if you're the best corner in this league or the best safety in this league, whenever a guy has time and he's running down the field full speed and you don't know where he's going to go and you're by yourself . . . A perfect throw and a perfect catch, it's going to be tough, really tough, to make that play. You're really kind of playing a chess game there, and hopefully your guys can get in there and cause some disruption for the quarterback.

We have not done a great job of using 53 yards, the width of the field. I think what we've done is kind of squeezed it down because that's how we beat Tennessee — play great defense, play great field position.

Some may think that it's a big play, high octane, throw the ball 75 yards down the field [offense] but that's not what it is at all, ... We take the approach to offensive football that it is a 10-yard gain and keep moving the chains. That follows our plan to win of field position and eating up the clock.

In the past, it's been a tough place to get a result. They do a good job of playing at home on a big field. Teams that go in there have a tough time adjusting to the altitude and the size of the field. To give them credit, they play well at home. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.

The experience, and especially playing 140 games (is an adjustment). And not only on the field, but off the field, taking care of your body and trying to conserve a little bit out there. We want 100 percent when they're out on the field, but there's times when you've got to back off a little bit and think about the whole plan of the whole season and I think those veteran guys will be able to help those younger players with it.

Pittsburgh was a great place. I was limited to just play in the middle of the field, but I have the ability to play either safety.
