Ann contributes a lot for us on the field. She carries herself very professionally. She'll have her jokes but knows when to joke around and when not to. When Ann talks, people listen and people respect her for that, and for who she is. She is very intelligent and wise.

So, listen, different strokes for different folks, some people just like the joke, some people like to hear the funny line. The joke is the thing, and it works for them. Airplane!, the Zucker brothers, they perfected that art form - just an hour and a half of great, funny jokes. Fabulous!

It's pretty hard to make me laugh, and sometimes they wouldn't pitch me a joke, they would do the joke. And if it wasn't funny, I wouldn't put it in. But more often than not, when they really thought it was enough to ruin a take, it was a good joke. And Eric is a great writer, so he was always giving other people jokes, too. You want that. There was a great camaraderie on the set.

Intelligent people keep an open mind. Ken's certainly an intelligent guy so I'm sure we're willing to listen to what they have to say.

I love doing what I'm doing off the field, but you want to get recognized on the field and get respect. People are in need and it's good to help people move forward, but on the field, I want people to understand I am a vital part of the offense and this team and that they need me.

It's amazing the support we've gotten from the military people. People (who) said before they made jokes about curling now have some respect for it.

My goal is to get on the national team. People joke that we'll be able to go to Beijing in 2008, but it's just jokes right now. Hopefully I'll be able to make it a reality. What became clear very early is that people wanted the story, ... They didn't want a joke fest. All the notes were: You can cut the jokes.

We're two totally different people from two totally different parts of the earth. I think people are wanting it to be more than what it really was. It wasn't like we hated each other. We spoke every day, said what's up, had conversations, cracked jokes, just like any other teammate in here. Basketball-wise, came in, did what we had to do to get a win. Sometimes we didn't get it. We're both competitive.

Stupid people always think they are right. Wise people listen to advice.

Intelligent people listen to radio. They don't need pictures. They use their imagination and appreciate the call.

He was born smart, and he can't let it go. He'd rather make a joke than listen. He's clever, but he hasn't applied it as well as some other people.
