It really screws up the water, ... You have a storm like Ophelia, that just sat out there and spun around for days, and it churned the water up from the surface to the bottom, and all of our water became murky. And murky water isn't conducive to holding baitfish and game fish. It can take as long as three weeks to settle back down and clear up. It's still murky out there.

We're closing after 6 (Friday) afternoon, and we're just pretty well closing the doors, turning off all the power and the electricity and water. Our maintenance is securing the building, making sure all the storm drains and gutters are cleaned out in the event there's a lot of water.

Jordan was in the water and had gotten the girl up. I helped to get the girl out of the water and onto the deck. Once we got her out of the water, we could calm down and think what to do. It was hard to concentrate because it happened so fast. I'm glad that Jordan saw her and got her out of the water. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

I never thought (the storm) would be that bad, ... We've had winds that bad, but once I saw the water rising, I knew it was time to go.
