en We had a lot of opportunities. They didn't really hurt us defensively too much. They were physical, and they made us work for every rebound, but we really just did it to ourselves. We played some of the best defense I've ever seen, but we just couldn't equal it on the offensive side.

en Our defensive played well but couldn't connect on the offensive side. Turnovers and poor shooting hurt us. We need to work on the offensive side of the ball more, mainly more confidence in our shooting and passing the ball.

en I was pleased with our offensive opportunities. We played poorly defensively and it was mostly our forwards. There was far too much pressure on our defense.

en At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

en We played pretty physical tonight and I liked that. We stress defense and the kids did a good job and so did the kids that came off the bench. They can all play defense. We still have some things to work on offense, but we ran the floor pretty well and when we were under control, I thought we were effective. We have to be playing well defensively for everything else to work.

en We could never plant our feet defensively and get a stop. Most of the time, when it really hurt us, it was the second shots. We'd get them to miss and then we just couldn't get the rebound.

en They capitalized on every mistake. Every time we made a turnover, they scored on it. I think the key to the game was their offensive rebounding. Every time we did a good job defensively and looked like we were going to get a stop, they got an offensive rebound and put it back in.

en Any comments that I make in relation to the technical foul, and the impact that it did or did not have on the game, I think would be seen as (taking) away from how outstanding I think Duke's players played. They made tough shots. They made the plays they had to make to win the game. We had equal opportunities, and we didn't come away with the points. We didn't get the stops that were necessary during the critical parts of the game, and we had maybe even some better looks than what they had; they knocked theirs down and we didn't.

en We couldn't make any baskets (and) couldn't get any defensive rebounds. They took advantage of it. They made a lot of offensive rebound baskets on us. We couldn't get over the hump.
