People have this idea that I only play a lawyer on TV, but I'm in court every day. Most of the time there are no cameras. The only audience I need is the jury. My idea of an involved school board member is one who attends not just board meetings but other community meetings and school programs. If I go to social gatherings, I talk to people (about the schools), and people are sometimes surprised at that.

Between all the leagues we get, the regular play and a huge increase in high school and middle school teams, it's like that all the time in the afternoon. It's just packed all the time.

The bottom line is, when you know you're gonna play, you know people are gonna count on you and you know you're gonna get minutes, you play a little bit more freed up. Let's face it. We have nothing to lose right now.

You can't shut yourself off from hearing it, ... I've heard everything from late first round to fifth or sixth. I really can't think about that now. All I can think about now is having a good year. This is my senior year. In my senior year of high school I had no offers. So it doesn't make a difference to me what anyone says about me now. I have to go out and play hard and prove myself once again. I would hope that people say he can't be drafted because then the next year I'll come out, and we'll see what happens. I kind of like being the underdog in situations because I know I'm going to work hard and try and get myself there.

It's really crazy. The fans, the people are crazy about it. A lot of people, they have no money over there. Some people work months for those tickets to come see us play a game.

The high school auditorium was packed. We had people with views from both sides, of course. It was at that time that I decided I was against incorporation.

Basically, all of my teammates were taking the ball to the hole. And they play big-time 'help' defense, so we knew that bringing other (defenders) over would leave a bunch of other people wide open for threes.

The message has to be that we're gonna hunt you down and we're gonna find you and we're gonna make you pay that price, ... We're not gonna let you attack our people innocent people and walk away, because if we do there will be more attacks.

I think once people see it on TV, it's going to soften their tone on it. They may not like it. They may not buy the DVD or go spend the five bucks and rent it at Rogers or Blockbuster or whatever. But, they're gonna think, 'Hmmm, it's not as bad as I thought it would be.' I honestly believe people will have that opinion come Monday morning.

That's something I admire about them. They get players you don't hear much about in high school but a bunch of them end up being drafted.
