This is going to be a rematch of a game they probably feel they should have won. They're a good team and it's going to be a tough game.

We're looking for a good ball game. Our team is blue-collar and the kids are fired up to play. If we can make them change their game plan a little bit, we feel like we can give them a tough game and be right in it.

When you have the opportunity to win a game for your team and the game is on the line and you don't come through, you feel like you let your team down. And to now get a chance to somewhat redeem myself and come back and help us win a tough game that we needed is important.

Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.

We owe those guys. Those guys beat us at home last time. It's payback. It's called a rematch. It's just like playing a Madden game -- you get beat and you want a rematch. We want a rematch.

I think it's tough no matter what way you look at it. I think we got a good draw with White River. It's a winnable game for us, but they're a good tough team. We will have to play a good game.

It was a good game. It was your typical sectional semifinal game. But Westby is a tough team. They played a good game. You can't fault the effort of our players either.

I just wanted to be aggressive and put a good swing on it. I just feel like I am more comfortable in the box and have a more solid approach than last year. Baseball is a tough game and you have to play with confidence. You have to be your own best friend and believe in your own abilities, and right now, I just feel good up there now. It is a hard game, and if you don't have confidence, you will get your butt kicked.

This is exactly what we thought the game would be. They are a very good team. Our big kids were the key to everything and our guards played good defense and controlled the game. It's tough to beat an undefeated team. To do it in their gym is even tougher.

I feel really good for our team because they wanted to go play ball. I thought our focus was really good. Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs. We started well again in the second half, pushed out to a good lead, but Missouri didn't stop. It was a tough game.

What we cannot have happen is for us to hang our heads and feel sorry for ourselves. Tough times don't last; tough teams do. Our team made a step tonight against the No. 6 team in the country, and we could have very easily won this game.

. . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.

At no point do you ever want to have to come out that early in the game. It was tough, knowing that it could be your final game. Me not being able to be out there and help my teammates really didn't feel good.

They're a good shooting team. [They have a] good inside game, a great defense. They're going to be tough. They're a little older and they have a lot more experience, but we're going to give them a good game and do the best we can.

This is just a feel-good game, because we've been through a stretch of tough games. First, Shelby then Woodford then Mercer County and we had our little bit of bad luck in that game.
