en I thought the easiest thing in the world would be to have Hispanics in the audience in South Florida, but it was 100 percent white. We had to import people and use some of the staff to get some blacks and Latinos. Of all the things to have to do. en We don't address this properly. We tend to think of hope as expectation, and when that expectation is 'I will live as long as I can no matter what' in the face of a terminal illness, then that's actually an unrealistic expectation.

As for Roger and Ian , well, they just sound great on this song so it really did become 'Black Purple'. Personally, I love the irony of it all.

en God only knows what we'll see. I already have whiplash from all the colorful, hippy, boho looks from summer to the black, black, black and more black for fall. I hope now that I've bought my black, it's here for a while.
