en I seemed to have command of every pitch. I'm feeling better.

en Jeff had a seven-pitch first and 35-pitch second, and we were hoping he'd adjust somewhere in the middle. But he couldn't. His location was off and his command, and command is the key element to success on a consistent basis.

en To me, your closer needs to be able to throw the ball over the plate regardless of what he is throwing, ... If you don't have pinpoint command you need to have an out pitch, a swing and miss pitch.

en He was a little inconsistent with his command (in the first two games). The addition to him having the good command (on Sunday) was that he was really good pitch-count wise.
