We were in a really tough division and it got to a point the last few years where we were always kind of like in a rebuilding process. And when you're like that in the American League East, it's too hard to win.

We're the third-youngest team in the league, and it's starting to show. We're in a rebuilding process and we've still got a few missing pieces. We lack in confidence --kind of like my first season here. This is an unforgiving league. But one of these games, we're going to put everything together.

I thought about staying for probably two or three seconds after they hired Marvin Lewis , ... But the biggest thing to me is that they're not just a coach away from winning. They're not like one or two players away. It's something that's going to take a process, and that process will take three or four years. And three or four years to me is my eighth and ninth years in the league. Who knows? I may not even be playing at that point. I didn't want to take that chance.

There's probably eight or nine teams that are legitimate World Series contenders in the American League, and that's very unique because you probably haven't had that in over 20 years. There is great parity in the American League. There are probably three teams in each division that can potentially win the World Series.

We felt we could make a run for [the Big Northern Conference East Division title], like we had that potential. It was kind of a tough season, but we feel like we can win a regional and get a plaque on the wall.

We've scouted them a few times. They have a lot of good athletes. They're in a tough league (City League-North Division). We drew a tough opponent.

The better teams are obviously in the American League. It's tough, but it makes for good baseball. Now the National League has to do some work to catch up. There's no doubt in my mind the top five, six teams are from the American League.

Last year was a tough one. But we are one of only two Division 3 teams to play in a Division 2 league. So we had tough games over the course of the year, but still played well in the tournament.

I know right now, the division is tough. It's probably not the best place to be playing for a team that's rebuilding. At the same time, I want to be here when it happens.

I've really enjoyed being the owner of the Trail Blazers. I've tried hard to bring the city a championship. Now we are in a tough rebuilding process with a broken financial model. We have asked for help in fixing it. If I have to sell the team or if it can't continue, that will be sad.

I still think the division and league are wide open. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. It's not like the American League, with the Yankees and Boston, or Chicago, who are all extremely stacked.

Normally you're looking at a five-year process to revitalize a program. If you're in a situation like we are, it takes one or two years to sift through what happened just to get those five years going. Next year begins our actual rebuilding process.

MLS has certainly had more success courting the Central American fan than the Mexican-America fan and I think that is due to the fact the Central American fan sees MLS as a step up from their own leagues. Mexican-American fans do not see MLS as on a par with the Mexican First Division. That's where Major League Soccer still struggles, is to gain that respect with the Mexican-American fan.

Plays like that that, we need more often from myself, Rudy ? guys who are really athletic. It gets the team going and gets the crowd going. Everybody has their ego. I'm not going to take anything away from Villanova calling themselves, ?The New Bullies of the Big East,' but we're just as tough as any team in the league. We played hard, we played tough and we're a damn good team.

Except for one year when we were on the bubble, we've been in the exact same spot. One or two in the East [division], top three in our league. This is nothing different.
