en I know that, after last year with my injury, it's best for my development to get time to play on the court. I still work all the time on my own to try and continue to be in the best shape and be ready to play. But to work out, it's not the same as this.

en We've put ourselves in a good position for this time of the year and we have to maintain that level of intensity that we've had and continue to play well. There are no state playoff spots determined y e t. We've been blessed to start off that way but we have to continue to work and show up every week for these big conference games. Hopefully we'll continue to play well and earn a spot.

en Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

en It gave me some time to work on some things I haven't had time to fit into our schedule. When we play Blue Valley, we will be ready. It was nice to have for preparation.

en This is our business. We still have time left and we just can't take it for granted. You want to play for your team, at least for yourself and your family and your teammates. I didn't let it slack last year and I think we need to stay focused and continue to work.

en They're back -- kind of. They do more with less match play than anyone I can think of. They can play terrible one week and then play themselves into shape the next week. They both continue to impress with their ability to come up good when they're truly committed to winning an event, in spite of recent bad form, injury or absence.

en We were there all day. In between, we had study hall, so we didn't leave the gym at all. Some people are like, 'Wow, you guys go for a really long time.' It was like a full-time job, 9-to-5. But it's like, hey, what you put in is definitely what you get out and you can't shortcut yourself. We put in the work. It's time to play the basketball we know how to play.

en It was tough for him not to play, it was tough for him not to compete last year. Now, it's time for him to put all that hard work to use and I think he's ready to do that.

en I will look at all of that. We'll have a plan as the week unfolds. We'll work through that, exactly how we want to play, who we want to play, how much we want to play and be able to go out there and do the best we can Sunday and be ready to work the next weekend.
