He throws in the ordsprog

en Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. He throws in the mid-90s. But we haven't seen him put up the numbers he did last night.

en He's rebounding at a higher pace than he ever has before. As he gets in better shape and he gets healthy, those numbers will only improve. For him with eight seconds left, to go and hit those free throws, well, that's something we haven't done before [under pressure].

en We don't have the kind of offense where you'll see a quarterback putting up league-leading numbers. If Ben throws 20 times, at least 10 of those are third downs. You can't look at his numbers without taking that into account.

en Not good numbers, not bad numbers, management gave us what we least expected ... No numbers. We are suspending our rating pending greater visibility into the impairment and guidance issues raised in last night's inadequate press release.

en Possibly nerves. An off night in free throws. I don't want to blame it on free throws. We messed up on some key points at the end of the game, made some errors. Overall we played well. We battled hard. They did a lot that we asked them to do.

en The young guys in here, they should be watching him. It's not like he gets the ball and throws it. He knows what he's doing in every pitch he throws. Fastball, curveball, changeup, whatever he throws, he throws strikes.

en We haven't shot free throws real well (66 percent) this year. Even some pretty good free-throw shooters missed those free throws.

en I haven't looked at anybody's numbers, not even my own numbers. That doesn't matter. The only number I'm concerned about is us winning these last few games.

en If you look at his numbers, people would say no wonder you talk about him. But the first thing you talk about with him is, No. 1 he's left-handed and No. 2, he throws hard. When you find a lefty who throws hard and can get in the same area code as the strike zone, there is a good chance you are going to talk about him.

en A.J. Abrams is a unique player. That's very unusual for a freshman to shoot the 3 that well, have those assist-to-turnover numbers and shoot free throws that well with the pressure of being on a nationally ranked team all year long. The best players in the country don't have those types of numbers as freshmen.

en He obviously had a tough night. I'm sure he missed some throws that he could have made. Maybe Aaron is tired. We'll have to look at that, but he has had some good practices. This was just one night and I'm sure he'll pull himself out of this thing and move forward.

en We haven't yet seen the negative effect of gas prices on consumer spending. It's certainly not here in these numbers. That doesn't mean it's not there. Certainly the weekly retail sales numbers have been sluggish.

en Against a quality opponent like that, you can't go big long stretches without scoring or with turning the ball over as much as we did. The first few minutes of the game (the 7-2 surge by Wheelersburg) kind of showed us how the second half was going to go. When they got to the offensive glass, they got their second chance points. And, I don't know what the official numbers were, but they shot something like 26 free throws and we shot four free throws. That's a big difference.

en He's a guy who shows up every night. I haven't seen a guy as in shape as he is. The way he's skating night after night, I just don't remember a guy that intense.

en The kids played hard and haven't quit. If we play the way we did in the first half, we can compete with anybody. Their second five showed no drop off from their first five, and they wore us down. There's not much you can do with the numbers they have versus the numbers we have.
