POETRY A sliver of ordsprog

en POETRY: A sliver of the moon lost in the belly of a golden frog.
  Carl Sandburg

en The frog is the American Indian symbol for peace and it's significant in all these different cultures. So I thought it would be a great name for international flag shorts. I just put a green frog on there. And people were really into the frog. And it just sort of hit.

en The golden frog is already endangered because of habitat loss and collecting for the pet trade.

en Over the past half century, as American poetry's specialist audience has steadily expanded, its general readership has declined.
