The governor depends on the university being an economic engine for the state. Having a private research institute will enhance our ability to more quickly transfer discoveries to the marketplace for the benefit of the university, the state and humankind.

This important grant will give our state?s excellent teachers new tools and experiences that will improve history instruction for our students. It will also enhance Central Connecticut State University?s long and distinguished record of teaching our state?s teachers. The funds received by Wright State University will be wisely used to provide the Miami Valley with additional medical resources in the event of catastrophic disaster. Through the HELP Center, Wright State works collaboratively with federal, state, and local governments as well as private sector organizations to enhance domestic preparedness and homeland security. This is an insurance policy for the area. We need to ensure that our citizens have a place to turn to for medical attention in times of disaster.

Except for two seniors that graduated. They have a tailback committed to University of Tennessee. Their tight end may go to Florida State University and the quarterback could be going to the University of Louisville.

I grew up in New Hampshire and was proud to be an Olympian from the state. The message from the largest university in the state is that it doesn't support Olympic sports, and I can't really accept an award from a university that does such a thing.

We certainly welcomed the input we got from Ball State University, Purdue University, Ivy Tech, and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, ... Not that those were endorsements, but they were just very helpful in looking over our plan and offering suggestions to make it the best it could be.

Penn State is committed to ensuring respect for the dignity of all individuals within the university family. The University continues to strive for a welcoming campus community. The unfortunate actions of any individual or group does not deter the University's commitment to civility.

We grew up together, and I have a picture of him and I at the Junior Worlds. He won, and I think I finished fourth or fifth. Then we played against each other when he went to (Louisiana State University) and I went to (Arizona State University). I've known David just about my whole life. He's playing great, and I'm excited about playing with him tomorrow.
