Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in players who can fill the holes created by the graduation of our seniors. We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to make an impact from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. This is a very diverse and talented class.

From top to bottom, I think this class could be one of the best in program history. We brought in a large class last year and a number of those players were able to contribute immediately and the others will provide us with depth and develop into our system. This year, we backed up that class with possibly even a stronger group. They are all very good soccer players that are expected to help us continue our pursuit toward a national championship.

We had a balance emphasis from last year's class. It caused us to look at more defensive players than offensive players. I think this is the best recruiting class that we've had since I've been here.

Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in central defenders, add depth to our corps of forwards, and players suited to a wide midfield role. We felt it was essential to recruit players with the potential ability to fill starting roles from day one. With this class, I think we have certainly accomplished that goal. We also have added two very versatile attacking players.

It's a large class, and it's a class full of people that love to play baseball. Five or six position players and possibly two to three pitchers will see playing time for us. That makes the returning players that much better because now they're being pushed.

A lot of players in our class can do things that others can't do.

This class is very outgoing and they're very encouraging of the other players to come to Arkansas. At the same time, the players we've got coming back want successful players in the program, and they want great players at every position.

Only on the third class tourist class passengers' deck was it a sultry overcast morning, but then if you do things on the cheap you must expect these things.

This year has been a lot more fun. It's neat to have my own players in the program. The freshman class has been great, and the people who have been here are receptive to doing new things.

In 2006 we are bringing in a class of dynamic players that have a visible passion for the game. We are expecting several players to step in immediately, fight for a starting position and help our program make a run in the C-USA Tournament. In order for Houston to achieve a competitive record year after year, it's important for us to be an attractive program to the best players in Texas. This class is a big step in that direction. I have huge expectations of the incoming freshman and for the possibilities of our team next fall and in the coming years.

That class really helped him. I tell all of my players, 'Get in that class.' It's something different than just regular (physical education). Plus, they get a ton of confidence.

We're up against a class act. They're a quality team with world class players.

I think this is an excellent class. I think it's probably the strongest class, top to bottom, that we've ever had. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. Almost every guy is a very good athlete in another sport. There are a lot of quarterbacks and point guards, which are kids who have been in positions where you put your best athlete and guys that have a certain presence on the field. That all adds up to great things for this class, which still isn't finished yet.

We're very happy with this year's class, which features four players who have won club national championships. We were specifically targeting certain positions and people, and we met our expectations. We've gotten to the point where I'm so happy with the talent and depth on our team and where we are at that we are now looking at trying to replace a player that leaves. Before we were trying to up the total level of our talent, but now, we're reloading. This class not only has players who will contest for playing time immediately, but it also prepares us for when other people will graduate.

I usually don't doubt a coach when he goes in-state and gets guys like that so early. The coaches usually can see something in players like that and they knew what they wanted right away. When you think about problems with Florida's recruiting class, corner is one of the last things to come to mind.
