en We've played to that level in certain games and today we were just fired up, ready to go ? especially in the second half. It's my job to get my teammates going. That's what it's all about.

en We got what we deserved today. We didn't come ready to play and we put ourselves in a big hole. We played very poorly. It was everybody. We played hard in the second half and made some good adjustments, but you can't expect to win with one decent half.

en Everybody stepped up in the first half, but I told our team that we had played great for 16 minutes in previous games and that we needed to be ready for a run in the second half.

en We were rusty tonight and hadn't played any ball games. They (Wolfe City) had already played two games, and we went in and made some adjustments at the half then came out and played better in the second half.

en Leader No. 1 is Courtney. In second, you have Lindsey. She gets fired up in games. She expresses herself and her teammates respond.

en The team came out fired up to play Cal State Bernardino and we've always had good games with them in the past. We were up 7-1 at the half and held up the rest of the way. We executed counterattack really well and played really good defense.

en The intensity level really stepped up in the second half and the kids did what I thought they would do. Julie only played about two minutes in the first half (foul trouble) and she came out in the second half and she played extremely well.

en Wednesday was just one of those days where I guess nobody was ready to play. We had all those turnovers and played terrible. We turned it around today and came out focused and dictated the game to them. I know I tried to attack more and I always get into the game more when my teammates are into it.

en I thought defensively, we played poorly in the second half which didn't help. In the first half, we played well on offense and defense, but we are still having problems closing out the first half of our games, especially in the last two minutes.

en I thought we played better each time we played. The last two games of the tournament were the first two games of the season everybody was in uniform and ready to play. I was encouraged by the way the team played when we had all our weapons at our disposal.

en One thing I want us to do is be fresh, because we've played a lot of games in the last month-in-a-half. I want our guys to be focused and ready to go and fine tune some things.

en I think we maybe went through the motions and kind of played down today. Now we have to make sure we go out and play up in these next four games because all of the teams will be evenly-matched with us. We better be ready.

en Anytime you go on the road, it's tough. Our kids have fared well away from home and have done a good job of getting ready each week and coming out fired up and ready to play. I don't expect anything different now, because our kids have stepped up in the big games. That's something you've got to be able to do in this district, and we can't go in worried about the past.
