I think the word that's the key with everything they do is consistency. That, and improving their skills. That's the case with most minor-leaguers, but it's particularly important for them because they're so talented.

I like this job. I'd like to be back. I'll be putting on the uniform somewhere. It might with the minor leaguers. I live in Sarasota, so that works out for me.

Pex 'Mahoney' Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. .. he has developed the consistency that's needed to pitch at this level. We feel it's important he get his feet on the ground up here (in St. Louis) for the time in the future when he's a starter.

This makes updating workforce skills particularly important. People really need to have their skills fine-tuned to have skills that are in demand and match those available overseas.

Even the best athletes in the world recognize the value of ongoing training. Improving marketing performance is more than tracking numbers. It's about having the right skills, tools and processes. We need a little less talk and a lot more action if we're serious about improving metrics proficiency and competency in our discipline.

Ivy Leaguers are hard-driving, talented people, and the temptation to get ahead by any means is just as prevalent there. If they see people around them gaming the system, they are quick to pick up on that. Maybe quicker.

There's one case after another where senior officials allege serious activities ... and then the case just falls apart and you end with minor-looking charges.
