You always like to hold a record, but 49 years, that's pretty good. It's great to see someone else enjoying the game and having a good season. They're having a good year and looking good.

There's good years and bad years -- there's great years and good years. This might be one of the great years. ... I don't know anybody who stayed on top and excellent every year in their career, but he's done a pretty good job of it.

Everyone knows him because of his name, but I think the fans in Boston are really going to like him. He's a very good center fielder who is very aggressive defensively. He can hit and he possesses some power. He had a good season last year, but he also had a good season two years ago. He's done it now two years in row so I don't think anyone can consider last year a fluke. He's only 26. I think he's only going to get better.

We should be pretty strong this year. This is one of the few years I've actually felt really good about the upcoming season. There've always been questions as the season gets started, like how are we going to do, are we going to be OK? But I think this year we should be pretty good.

I'm trying to remember what we did so well in that game, it was so long ago. I know we were doing a good job communicating. When you get this late in the season everybody is good. If they don't have a great record, then they know what it takes to win a tournament.

Those kids, early in the season they've done some good things and we think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line. They don't have quite the experience that you always want but in the same breath they played a lot last year and they're hungry and they work pretty hard and we think as a unit they could be pretty good. He likes to get the first takedown. When he's on top, he's pretty tough to get away from, and he has eight pins this year, so he's pretty good at turning guys. On the bottom, he's difficult to hold down. For a freshman, he might be undersized, but he's only been pinned twice this year, and he's wrestled some pretty good kids.

I think we're enjoying the fruits of good times right now, but this has been our pattern. Track the record of the past. We see good things ahead. I think the balance of the year might be more moderate, but still, very, very positive in terms of our ability to perform.

You need good personnel. Mike's good years came before he lost a lot of good players. His two starting guards. Before Brett Favre went into a year where maybe he wasn't quite what he had been before. So records mean something, certainly, in the evaluation process, but I look far beyond the won-loss record. There are other reasons.

We had a pretty good season. Not a great season, but a good one. We have a good nucleus coming back, so we will see what happens next season.

I'm at a loss for words. They're a nice solid team, they played a good game. It's been a good season. We showed good chemistry this year.
