en The last game we were supposed to send a message to Lockport and we didn't. They had a good game plan and followed through on it, and they got the victory. It would be nice to find excuses, but there are none. They outplayed us and wanted it more than we did.

en They did some of the stuff to us tonight that they did to us three months ago (a 77-57 Lockport victory in the WJOL Thanksgiving Classic), like blocking shots. They made the game more difficult. Whenever we got close enough to get over the hump, we seemed to be a step slow going to a loose ball. And then you have to give Lockport credit. They hit some big shots, did some good things.

en This is our house and we wanted to send a message early. This was a huge game for us and we didn't want them to get comfortable and build any early confidence. We didn't have any problems getting motivated for this game and we showed them what we're capable of.

en I didn't get frustrated - it's a playoff game and I did what I had to do. We're losing, 5-1, and I wanted to play as hard as I can to the last minute. Whether it's smart or not, I don't know.
