I think guys are ordsprog

en I think guys are still adjusting a little, but I think the shock of the move has worn off. I think everybody here is pretty much settled. But just like me, you don't have everything from home, New Orleans, that you had, so you're constantly shifting stuff.

en I go into each game with three guys written in as pitchers. If I feel someone is losing something, we'll put someone else in. It's nice. A lot of times hitters are only seeing a pitcher once, so they are constantly adjusting.

en We certainly have to improve at home. We didn't seem to have the team we wanted at home, and guys sometimes have a difficult time adjusting to Chicago [and a majority of day games].

en The important thing in writing is the capacity to astonish. Not shock - shock is a worn-out word - but astonish.

en It's a city in which all forms of eccentricity were not just tolerated but always welcomed. There is no way to shock people in New Orleans. Tennessee Williams found a home there, and it's no coincidence.

en I'm looking forward to getting back home. It's great that the guys have the opportunity to get that off day and get settled in. They haven't been home in a long time.
