en The hardest thing was getting this thing started. They knew it wouldn't be perfect. But the main thing was to get it out there to make people believe we had a school paper.

en We decided it would be better to interview the candidates and have them answer the questions instead of doing it ourselves. It just made sense to do it this way because we wanted something different than everyone else. We thought it would be more applicable because the elections are the biggest thing happening in Payson at this time.

en We knew that the country had to do the right thing, and the right thing had to be apartments for people when they couldn't go home. People, while they're here, need to get on with their lives.

en That was all we had left. Payson was killing us, moving the ball, hitting shots. We only had one thing left in our arsenal and that was the press. If it didn't work, we were going to lose by 20. We got lucky that it worked.

en I knew when I got the assignment it was going to be an emotional thing, ... We had feelings, but we had to put them in the background. We knew it was going to kill people right and left. But my one driving interest was to do the best job I could so that we could end the killing as quickly as possible.

en When we heard their line-up had switched, it was a positive thing, because we knew that we would get a chance to play other people. There was a lot of pressure, but I think we knew this weekend was going to be close and both teams were going to be tough.

en He was an absolute great guy, ... He knew the people in the county. He knew the civil process book. He knew the law. He was very, very good at it. He knew more people than any other deputy I had in the county.

en The people who knew me and knew my work and trusted me, they knew then as they do now that I've never fabricated or plagiarized a story. People who know me know I didn't do this.
