It's a great place. I've got family and friends - but it's a difficult thing. It's unfortunate that Houston's going through a tough time and I wish him the best and want him to win this weekend.

I've been away for a long time. Denver became my home, but I've got strong ties there, my family and friends and I have tremendous passion for the Houston franchise, just being from there.

In Salt Lake City we were on our home soil, very friendly environment, same time zone, home-cooked meals, competing in front of friends and family. We expect a more difficult time here, but we clearly have a great group of athletes.

It's tough when loving family and friends die. It's a shame, but he's in a better place now.

I'm going to agonize over this, ... It's going to be a difficult decision. We will be a better team next year, no question. You've been friends with the family.

I have a lot of friends and family in Orlando so it's always great to get back down there. I'm riding really strong right now and I'd like to keep my momentum going this weekend.

We have a small, tight family. I left home at a young age and the best thing for me was to go home at Christmas-time and spend time with my family and friends. It's kind of funny, most people do turkey and all the trimmings, but we would have a big seafood festival because it's the only time of the year that we'd eat it. We never really went caroling, but once in a while we'd got out for a sleigh ride.

I am really proud of our players because there has been a lot of hard work on their part. The thing I'm really excited about is we will be playing on neutral courts. It was a tough route going up to Connecticut last season. We can deal with altitude but it's a lot more difficult to go out and play on a home court. Louisiana Tech is a great team. I know Chris Long well and he has done a great job as a first-year coach. It will be a tough one out there but it's something we will look forward to. We know we have to go out to Denver and take care of business. We can only take it one game at a time and we won't look past anything.

Our fans are great, but it's even better when you have the alumni here. So we obviously have extra motivation because we have a lot of family and friends coming back into town for this weekend, and anytime they're here you go out and give it your all.

She has family around her and some friends, and it's a very difficult time, ... They're obviously very upset. They're very worried at this news.

Memorial service arrangements are still being made, and his friends and family would appreciate privacy during this difficult time.

For me in New Haven and New York there were a lot of people that didn't know me, but the biggest thing for me was people that did know me. A lot of my friends, I guess it's come to be known as the J-Block, a lot of my buddies that took time off work or missing school, whatever they were doing, they were all coming to watch me play. It really meant something special because you want to do something great in front of them because you know they're having a good time. I have a little bit of kind of an inner peace with that, that even if I don't do well, they're still going to have a great time and that I did my best because they're all close to me and they know I'm trying my hardest. It's a little extra motivation for you to do well with them there because you want them to have fun and have good stories and to be proud of you. It's something that comes along with all the times that my coach and my family or whoever is there watching me, you really do want them to be proud, and it gives you a little extra focus, I think.

I'm surrounded by the right people. I've got a lot of good family and friends, two great head coaches. It will be a tough decision but not a bad one to have.

I might be wrong, ... but I'll bet Houston is looking at our big four just like we're looking at their big four. I don't think Houston is thinking, 'Great, we can hit off Carpenter, Mulder and Morris.' The pitching is going to be a fascinating part of this thing. It's going to be a big story every day.
