en I've never seen the ball carry this time of year like it did tonight.

en It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

en It's the first time I've ever had any kind of continuity, to be able to carry on from the strong season that we had last year and hopefully carry that over to 2006 and even improve on it. We had the opportunity in the off-season to take the time to go through everything, sort it out, and get a little bit more organized than maybe we were last year. Last season we had to put everything together in such a hurry. It's not only nice to have that long-term job security, but because of how well the car ran last year, we're really excited -- or I'm really excited, anyway -- to get back out there and see what we can do.

en She came out firing. I was a little surprised, but I was happy at the same time -- just give her the ball. She did a great job. Hopefully she can carry it on -- I know she'll carry it on for the rest of the tournament.

en Tami had it going tonight. It was one of those nights where we wanted her to carry us a little bit. She got it going early, and once she did we got the ball to her.

en We wanted to keep it simple on offense tonight because we've had a lot of trouble getting things started the past few weeks. Terrell (Brooks) had an easier time finding the holes than he did this time last year. ... This is probably the best game he's had running the ball.

en I think tonight was probably our best game of the year. We kept the ball very well and we were solid. We have 22 new players and the guys needed time to adjust to each other.

en We do know where the ball should go. We're unselfish. Probably what we did tonight, too, was we had a good number of guys make shots. I think we're a good shooting team. I don't know if we've had this many guys flowing and shoot the ball well. … I'd like to see us carry it over Friday night.

en He's just doing so much, it's hard to be critical of anything. We've put the ball in his hands time after time after time at the end, you almost want to give it to someone else and have someone else carry part of the load.

en He's got better in getting his team involved. Last year he tried to carry a load by himself sometimes. This year he's distributing the ball a lot better and it gets us in the flow.

en He hurt his ankle after districts, and we were kind of concerned how he'd be tonight. He threw the ball well tonight. That's probably as well as he's thrown all year.

en It's the biggest game of the season up to this point, I feel, and we talked about having to defend. Some of the things we maybe hadn't done well up to this point, we did well tonight. Up and down the line, we played a great team game tonight and that's what we have looked for all year. I just hope we can carry on from here.

en The thing people need to realize is that there is a carry over from year to year in utility money. This year there is a carry over of more than $1.5 million.
