en He has some decisions to make. I'd like to make myself available to him if he has some questions about me or what he an expect from me as a coach. I know the organization and myself would love to have him on the staff.

en The exercise covered the principal decision-making and communications issues that would face us in a pandemic. The drill emphasized the need for all of us to continue working together to determine and answer some fundamental questions before we are actually faced with them. These included: At what point would we send students and nonessential staff home? How would we care for remaining faculty and staff, and those students who couldn't evacuate? What decisions could be made by Harvard versus state or local officials? Who would make which crucial decisions and how would those decisions be communicated?

en We used to have to get together, and we had five or six roster decisions to make from the pitching staff, maybe two or three more on the positional side. And this year, I think we're a little more set with our team. There'll probably just be one or two decisions down the stretch. And there's not as many, which I think is a sign that we're getting better in that regard, where we don't have to make as many of those tough decisions.

en I want him here. I think he's a great coach. But I don't make those decisions. It's up to the organization. I'm hoping he comes back.

en At some point, we have to make decisions on what's best for your ballclub and I don't think it means we're not loyal. You have to be loyal to the organization. Sometimes the decisions are hard to make. They trouble us more, but we still have to make them.

en Sometimes, just like when players are available, you have to make decisions on whether we should bring someone like that into our organization. It's not about whether you have an opening or not. It's about whether this is a positive addition to our organization. That's what we've done. That doesn't mean that it creates other issues for somebody else.

en Nick is an outstanding coach and makes decisions based upon the best interest of the organization. Dom is an outstanding coach. I enjoyed my time in Miami and am proud of what we accomplished. We had a good thing, and I expect the Dolphins to continue accomplishing good things looking forward.
