The last few weeks ordsprog

en The last few weeks, it?s really come around. Even when I?m not swinging well, my putter will come around, and I can still shoot par or under par.

en I've been playing well the last little stretch. When the putter is on, I'm going to shoot some low scores.

en You can always have those kind of weeks but overall my game feels good and hopefully I can get the putter sorted out and get it ready for next week.

en I used one for about two years, and when I went back to a conventional putter last year, I found that I regained my stroke, especially on shorter putts, as a result of using the belly putter.

en We made a replacement. I'm tired of replacing it. That's happened a few times this year where the head has fallen off. Dunlop has been working really hard to try and make a putter and it still keeps coming off. I'm not getting another putter.

en I can't shoot my age — yet. I mostly shoot in the high 80s. I had a shot at it a couple of weeks ago at D.W. Field but ended up with a 92. I'll get there someday.

en We're not swinging the bat well in the bottom of the order. One through nine we're not hitting right now. We're not swinging early. We're swinging when we get two strikes on us. You're not going to be very successful like that, I don't care on what level.

en He was pretty much just free-swinging and swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, getting himself into a lot of bad hitting counts. I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.

en And, take [Phil] Mickelson. I played with him in the first two days of the PGA. He'd be the first to admit he wasn't on his game. I was amazed at how well he scored with the way he hit the ball. I guess that's what it all comes down to. He was just red-hot with his putter. Give me one of those weeks.

en I think it probably seemed like I was anxious because I was swinging at bad pitches. I was thinking about it, but I'm going to keep swinging. Sometimes it looks bad and sometimes it doesn't, but I'm not going to stop swinging.

en [Tuesday] seemed like an easy 78 and today was a struggle to get to 80. The putter wasn't really what it should be. I love to chip and putt and the putter wasn't there.

en It was fast and furious at the start. I played a good round. I've been playing well. I just haven't been able to close the deal the past few weeks. My putter helped me today, which is a major turnaround for me.

en Hopefully, we've got him swinging good. We're definitely going to need him in these last two weeks. It'd be nice to see it carry over. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.

en I don't think golfers learn anything because at the end of last year when I was playing well, I was using a belly putter. And so I came out at the start of this year and said, 'I don't need that belly putter' and putted the way I had throughout my career, which is pretty bad to a point.

en He looks to be swinging the club as well as he has done for some weeks now and must be secretly delighted with Tiger Woods' awful start to the tournament.
