Jason is a skilled ordsprog

Jason is a skilled player who tries things and occasionally it gets turned over. We get disappointed or frustrated or whatever the word may be, but he comes up with the big plays and that's why you keep playing him.

Not if we play that way again. Frustrated isn't the right word, disappointed isn't the right word. Absolutely and utterly ---- off is the only feeling we should have right now.

I think he's probably disappointed ? frustrated might not be the word ? disappointed that he didn't come through and score in those situations the past couple of games. I think anybody would feel that way.

Our original plan in the off-season was to slate the No. 5 spot in the rotation for a younger player (Jason Davis or Fausto Carmona) and to spend money to upgrade elsewhere. When we were unable to get some other things done, we saw an opportunity to improve the team by signing Jason. The young guys still could end up playing a role for us in 2006.

We're getting too cute, too fancy (with passes). That's what happens when you got new guys coming into the lineup that are skilled players playing with guys who are skilled players. Everybody wants to show off and show how great they are and how fancy they can make things happen. As a result, we turned the puck over and we all looked like we had no idea what we were doing.

Jason does what Jason does. Jason can hit a few outside shots, and he can take the ball to the basket. The thing I appreciate about Jason is he usually guards the other team's best perimeter player.

He is distressed. He's saddened that people he had worked with and trusted turned out to be doing things they shouldn't have done . . . I haven't heard him use the word betrayed but he's very, very disappointed.

We're getting mixed signals regarding Semin. He's in violation of his contract and we're going to be as aggressive as we can to remedy this. We're frustrated and disappointed. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. We feel we've done all the right things. This is a real talented player who should be here.

One of the things I enjoy being around Luke is that he plays to win. He truly wants to be a great player. So, yes, he was getting frustrated by not winning. It means a lot to him to win. He knows that's how he will be defined.

Jason is not an average player in this league, he's turned himself into a great player. He does everything well.

I really like Jason personally. He's fun. Are there things I like about Jason as a basketball player? No. And that's being candid.

People don't understand that a lot of stuff he's done and the reason he plays so hard and is so hungry is because he wants to be great. I think a lot of time Ron gets frustrated because he knows he's better than what he's been playing. He wants to be the best player in the game. That's what drives him, that's what motivates him.

I'm fighting [the puck] so much, I don't even want it. Usually I want it, I want to carry it, I want to make the plays, but I'm trying to get rid of it. It's like I'm saying, 'I'm not going good so I don't want it.' That's not what will make me effective. I'm disappointed, frustrated, a lot of things. You can't sleep at night and think about what I'm doing. I know you have to let it go, but with my personality, it's hard for me to let it go.

Jason has had a great camp and has done a great job in every regard. He's probably one of the guys who has had a lot more to learn because he's never really played that position as a professional player. He's playing a combination of two positions right now, but he's done a tremendous job of adapting and making plays.
