I think that we've got some people that score goals pretty easily in some games, and I think they'll take advantage of some opportunity here.

Over the past couple of years you kind of find out what your role is. And my job is to score goals. And I want to be out there and get that opportunity to score goals. And I feel I can do that.

If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.

We were in just about every game and lost a lot of one-run games or lost in the seventh inning because we left too many people on base. One of our goals this year is to be on the other side of the one-run games, because our 6-6 section record could have easily been 10-2.

I tried to take advantage of that opportunity and get it in the back of the net. I hadn't scored in a couple of games, so it felt good to score that one to help my team win. Hopefully, it will motivate me to keep playing hard.

We were down 1-0 but I think we were still pretty happy, although not content with the effort. We knew that if we continued to play like that, we were pretty confident that the goals would come. In the end we were rewarded. Even though we didn't score any goals, we set the tone in the first period.

We're still having squeaky-type games but we've pulled them out in the end. It's been tough to score goals, especially when you're playing on the road but we were pretty opportunistic tonight.

We've got to score goals. It's tough to win games when you only score one goal. Obviously, that's been our nemesis the last couple of games.

This was a big opportunity for me to show the coach I can play 30 minutes if need be. My focus was to keep Jagr in check and not letting him score any goals. I think I had a pretty good game.

He's a comfort zone. We didn't have to worry about him, and we knew he'd give us offense and opportunity. He was steady every game. There weren't games where he'd score six goals and then disappear. He was a constant.

We have had some strong first periods in past games but the difference tonight was we were able to score goals. Getting the early goals was important tonight. Ben Bishop had a strong second period in which things could have turned. That was a big reason why we won the game. Tomorrow night will give us another opportunity and promises to be an exciting but challenging game.

We let a lot of people who hadn't had the opportunity to play score. Six players scored their first goals of season.

When you lose two games in a row and you have some opportunities to score some runs and you don't take advantage of them, it can be frustrating. But we have two more games against these guys. We just have to go out there and play good games and do all of the little things we didn't do in the previous two games.

Everybody wants to score goals and everybody should score a few goals a year so I'm definitely not happy with it, and, yeah, it's been a little frustrating. I'm definitely not here to score goals, but everybody's got to contribute something .

We had goals in here where we wanted to be when this break started and now we have goals set for the last part of the season. It's gonna be important to get off to a big start. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. We have five games at home and want to use it to our advantage.
