We look forward to having Seth back with the Salmon Kings for the upcoming season and expect him to continue to develop. Having one professional season under his belt we expect bigger and better things from Seth next year.

(Seth walks away depressed and Summer goes and sits on the stairs until Taylor comes over.)

Summer: 'I got to go to detention.'

We've found out that Seth is quite the mismatch. Ubly's defensive backs don't have the size that Seth has. Seth is 6-foot-3, he can jump, and he can run. That's a pretty good combination.

I expect us to be good; very good. I expect us to first and foremost be better than we were last year and get back to having this franchise as one of the premier franchises on and off the court, and I think we have the opportunity to do that this upcoming season. I really believe that.

From the opening round to the final hole, Seth had a great tournament. He gave us exactly what we need and stepped up in a big way. I'm very pleased and proud with how Seth battled.

He did everything right. Rado would get a gap on Seth by running low in a turn, but Seth knew better than to drop low with him. He stayed high, where he could ride the bank fastest, and just waited until he could pass him.

He'll get some innings under his belt [and] pitch in some big-league games. Our thought process is to send him to Triple-A, put him in the rotation and have him to continue to develop. If he continues to do well, there's a chance realistically [that] we'll see him in Houston at some point during the season. We don't expect that to happen out of Spring Training. We're going to keep an open mind about it, but realistically, we see him gong to Triple-A.

We know that that's not acceptable down here. A three-loss season, hey, that's great for some teams. But guys do come back here and they're like, 'Nah, that didn't cut it last year, man.' They don't expect us to lose three games. I really think guys from other schools don't expect us to lose three games. It's really unheard of down here, especially in the last four or five years. We didn't really expect to go this long without one, to tell you the truth, the way the season started. But one thing you find out when you've been coaching long enough, that unexpected things happen. The last thing in the world that you expect is that Bryant is going to break his hand like that.
