He's just a beast. He's got so much raw talent. I swam some great times; I'm ecstatic.

The times this year have been incredible. I feel bad for some of the guys who didn't make it. They swam great times but just came up short. This is the fastest sectional qualifying teams I can remember.

Rochester (Century) is probably the most dominant team in the conference by far. We swam well tonight. Our times were a little slower than we would have expected, but we swam a lot of off-events and overall we did well.

Great running backs have a tendency to run by instinct, run by feel, and when they see the same blocking pattern three or four times, sometimes they anticipate what you are going to do the next time, ... There's some of that, and then some of that is just sheer determination, guts and talent. He is a phenomenal competitor, and he is blessed with great talent.

I did 'Beauty and the Beast' like 780 times. And so there are going to be nights when things go wrong, like the set breaks down or the Beast mistakenly pulls your wig off.

We had some great swims. This a point in the year when times aren't going to count for much. Given that, I was very pleased with the way we swam.

I couldn't be prouder of our kids. We swam great, they swam terrific.

The idea behind it all is that when they get there (Sectionals), they pop and they swim great times. So they were a little tired tonight, but they swam a good meet overall.

And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? / And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Before the meet we swam a tough practice with full drag (clothing or articles used to create water resistance) on. We came out and actually swam our times well after practicing with full drag on. We really did well.

I knew what my times were and how my practices were progressing and how close I was to the goals I had set for the year. I swam hard. I always swam hard. If I didn't, I knew I would pay for it either the next day or the next meet.

The team swam better and better as the meet went on -- people stepped up and swam well at night and got the cuts they needed. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. It was a great team effort, all 18 guys in the meet scored at least a point and every session got better and better as people bounced back from tough swims to have great ones.

Everyone did best times. And whether it's for first or third or for 15th place, all we can control is how fast our kids swim. All our kids swam great.

In general, I think our girls swam well. Some of the freshman girls got to swim, and I hadn't really anticipated that. That was really great. We had some best times, too, so that was really good.
