It would help Grier ordsprog

en It would help Grier if the other guys figured out where they fit in. At the end of the Iowa game, they gave Grier the ball, and everyone stood and watched. It's really one-on-nine instead of one-on-one or one-on-two.

en I think it was going to be a tough game for either Horner or Grier to lose. They both put on such great offensive performances, and unfortunately it ends up being Vince. They just outplayed us down the stretch.

en We're a better team than we were. But there are times in every game where you need to execute if you are going to win. We need to work on that execution. Ahmad played very hard and I thought Matt Grier left it all on the floor.

en Once he (Grier) gets going, look out. He's definitely one of the best in the Big Ten. In the first half, I had to score to keep us in it, then a lot of guys responded in the second half, and that was huge.

en That was what we set out to do, stop Grier.

en Our guys have a lot of respect for Vincent Grier. That showed when he was here. We have to try our best to keep him out of the open court, and not let him have angles in the half court, and continue to guard him tight.

en Just to get that thing to six at halftime took a lot of effort. I've seen that before. You're almost in a trap in a situation, where their best scorer (Grier) doesn't play, they lose a game probably everybody in Minnesota thought they should have won. ...
