I have learned that ordsprog

en I have learned that these guys want to win. They have been very willing to adapt and play unselfishly.

en The only thing I want is guys who play hard, play unselfishly, try to defend, try to rebound and play with some kind of intelligence. I think that's been an issue forever.

en We defend, we rebound, we play unselfishly, we do whatever it takes to win. We have a great energy level, high-intensity guys.

en That's something I really can't complain about all year. Our guys -- every day in practice, every game, even games when we don't look real smooth offensively -- we attempt to play unselfishly and share the ball. It's a fun team to coach in that regard; the guys are unselfish, and they like to pass the ball.

en We are excited for the fall. Our players have set high expectations for the next season, and we are looking forward to it. We had the chance in the spring to play against several teams with different types of systems, and we've learned to adapt to the way we need to play to succeed in the fall.

en I'm pretty sure I learned more in that day than I did in two years of Minor League ball. [I learned about] the speed of the game and how everything works. It's just a different game. You've got to adapt to it. Everything speeds up.

en I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

en I think every coach has to adapt to what they have, because they're what you get. You can't just go out to the player tree and pick all the great ones. That doesn't happen. You get a Barry Sanders every now and then. You get a Billy Sims every once in a while. And when you have it, you adapt to their strengths. Whoever comes in here and whoever has this job needs to adapt and will do that.

en That's the one thing that's the biggest part of our turnaround from last year. We only won five games last year and we didn't have any ball movement. Now we've got guys that really play unselfishly and move the ball well, and that's helped us quite a bit.

en That's really been one of our strengths, passing the basketball. These guys play so unselfishly. This is the best passing basketball team I've coached.

en I have really changed the way I work out, ... What's come with maturity is that I've learned how to train. I have learned what works for me. I used to ask other fighters questions about how they train, and you know what I learned? I learned it's different for everybody. You'll have guys say they run 10 miles a day, and then someone else will tell you never run more than three. It's whatever floats your boat. I've learned what works for Shannon Briggs.

en We had a chance to see a lot of different styles of play and you had to adapt to the different style each team plays. That?s going to help us come tournament time because the game in the Pac-10 is different from the Big East and we know how to adapt to the different styles. I?m glad I had that opportunity.

en Most of them were role players. When this team is firing on all cylinders, I don't know if you can identify who the five starters are. They play so unselfishly. They all play together.
