We played real well. We won the first game, 25-21, in the finals, but the wheels started coming off a little after that. I think we got tired. We played a lot of volleyball and I probably could have done a better job substituting.

This win was huge for us. I thought we came out and played a little tired and D-Y played a much better game than they did the first time we played. For us to walk out of here with a win is great. These kids are young, but they're coming together at the right time.

I thought he played real good. The way he moves the puck is something. That pass he made to Alfredsson coming off the bench ... he just played a real solid game. He'll be a real important guy for us in the playoffs.

Bryan Murray (1949-)

We played Baltimore a couple of years ago in the finals. Of course, they won both those finals. They're a good team. We've played them six times this year. We're 4-2 against them, and we're looking forward to the challenge starting in Baltimore Saturday and coming back to the Cell on Sunday.

We played even with one of the best teams in the state for 16 minutes. But (Arlington) is just relentless on the glass and just slaughtered us on the boards. That's when the wheels started coming off.

She hasn't played club volleyball; she's only played school volleyball. And she's just practiced her way into being my starting setter. She just picks up fast. She's very athletic. She's an all-around girl.

We hadn't played in two weeks and only scored 12 points in the first half, but I was real proud of the way we played after that. They started out on fire. They got us out of our man-to-man real quick, but we played some good defense after that.

I played basketball and softball in high school. I didn't know much about volleyball until my daughter got involved. My son used to always play football and basketball. He didn't get started playing volleyball until the ninth grade.

It was a very well-played game, but it all started with pitching and defense. Again, we didn't tear the cover off the ball. We scored one run. This is what we have to do to compete. Hopefully, we can put it together. This is probably the third or fourth sharp game that we have played, but this the best that we played.

I think having played in that game up there, helped us in this game. We played much better this time. The game was even more important coming off that loss to Rutland. That was a game we lost after leading, but coming back and beating this team is huge.

My hat's off to her. She did one heck of a job out there. A lot of other girls wouldn't have played. Late in the game though, she was tired and it started to hurt again.

I played in that [1986] game, and I wasn't nearly as tired in that game because I got taken out in the eighth inning. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. There was a book written on it, called 'The Greatest Game Ever Played,' and now there's gonna be a sequel.

Phil Garner (1949-)

It's probably the most nerve-racking end to a test match I've played in ... (maybe) any game of cricket I've ever played - tied World Cup semi-finals included.
