Tamara has a lot of experience, a lot of basketball savvy. When she plays within herself she does a great job and helps our team out a lot.

No one likes losing, but it's great for our basketball team to go through this. It is great because they need this. I really believe the difference was our experience as a basketball team in relation to their experience.

We weren't strong enough, and they made savvy plays. Vincent is a great player, and the defense of their whole team was great.

A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Those guys make a big difference in our team, Lester with his aggressiveness and his toughness and Chris with his basketball knowledge and his savvy to make plays defensively and to make shots on offense.

Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good. It's not that complicated. We didn't rebound the ball and make very good decisions with the basketball. Now, it's about making basketball plays. Basic basketball plays. The older guys keep telling us it's not the national championship game. It's a series. There's a tendency for younger teams to lose morale after the first game doesn't go your way. We're a pretty positive group and that comes from experience.

They're a good basketball team. They're a well-coached basketball team. They're not just a tall basketball team. Those kids have skill, they make plays. You don't win 20-something games and not be as skilled as they are.

He helps us a lot just with his experience and presence. He started every game last year and having him out there kind of has a mellowing affect on all of us. He's not fully in basketball shape yet, but having him back helps us.

Dale is outstanding with the basketball and he is so much a better finisher and that really helps us. We had a great team effort all around.

What they've been able to do this year is great for basketball. Most teams don't get a chance to experience what they've been able to experience. In this tournament, they were able to inspire a lot of people. There was no resentment on our team for feeling like they got all the attention or we got slighted.

Marcus was probably our team MVP tonight. He's really matured as a basketball player and just continues to get better. Obviously, that's something you like to see as a coach, and it helps build momentum for us as a basketball team.

Terry Youngbauer

Given the situation Tiffany was put into this year, she's done a great job handling the pressure of sharing her knowledge and experience with the freshmen. One of Tiffany's strengths is that she follows up her words with the way she plays; she's a great leader by example and we all see from Tiffany that hard work really does lead to being a great basketball player.

Steven plays a big role for us inside. His defense is great and he takes up a lot of space when he blocks out so that it helps everyone on our team rebound. And he's got great timing for blocking shots.
