The general sense of disappointment is pretty widespread in the Herald company, but we've been through worse. I'm quite optimistic that this will turn out well for Grand Forks and the Herald.

I just wish there were investors here that could do it, so it would remain the Grand Forks Herald, period. Nothing against the Forum, but I like the Herald the way it is. By the same token, the Forum is a very good newspaper in Fargo.

We're not the major source of national and international news and don't pretend to be and don't want to be. But we're, by far and away, the source of local and regional news for the great bulk of people not just in Grand Forks, but in a very large geographical area. The tentacles of the Herald go out a couple hundred miles east and west.

It's easier to sell 10,000 seats if you're in Philadelphia as opposed to 10,000 seats in Grand Forks because you're surrounded by millions of people.

There's a tremendous financial upside to winning a Golden Globe. The amount of excitement that it creates and the amount of extra attention your film gets is priceless.

That means he's going places to help people. You don't use them to take the family to Miami Beach for the weekend. You use them to do events for people that otherwise wouldn't be possible. Flying commercially to places like Helena or Grand Forks would take the better part of a day.

It's not sustainable in the short term. We'll probably see a sell-off over next 30 days. But as the Fed continues further rate cuts, that will prompt the economy to come back ... let's say, in August and September. Then we think you can get some upside.
